The College of Health and Human Services specializes in vocations that serve and uplift others, including practical training in nursing, mental health, family and child therapy, communication disorders, and allied health.
College of Leadership and Professional Studies
The College of Leadership and Professional Studies programs help students develop a deeper understanding of their identity, formation, and calling as they journey to become whole persons in their work and in their community. Embedded within Christ-centered communities, students will grow in their discipline through a commitment to the Christian virtues of intellectual curiosity and rigor, hospitality, humility, integrity, authenticity, and perseverance.
College of Learning and Development
In the College of Learning and Development, we offer undergraduate and graduate degrees that prepare educators to lead with purpose, skill, and integrity. We invite you to bring your whole self to the task of learning including your faith and your sense of vocation. In our rigorous online programs, you will learn to use research and theory to improve professional practice. You will learn to think critically about complex situations, use data strategically, and act thoughtfully and with integrity.

Department of Communication and Sociology
The Department of Communication and Sociology prepares you to communicate skillfully, think critically, conduct groundbreaking research and lead purposefully through a breadth of careers.
Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders
The programs in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, accredited by ASHA, the American Speech and and Hearing Association, prepare students to serve individuals with communication disorders. The undergraduate program lays the foundation for you to pursue graduate studies in speech-language pathology or audiology. As a graduate of the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program, you’ll be prepared to take the national examination to be a licensed speech-language pathologist.
Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition
Students in the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition work as agents of change modeling wellness and living out Christian values with and for the communities and people they serve. In community, corporate, commercial and clinical settings, you will learn to embody principles of health and wellness, refining your knowledge of true wellbeing as you lead and serve others in developing physical wholeness and health.
Department of Language and Literature
The Department of Language and Literature invites the study of the world’s languages and stories to deepen our understanding of the world, and of each other, as is central to our calling as people of faith.
Department of Management Sciences
The Department of Management Sciences is home to undergraduate programs in marketing, business management and information systems. If you want to pursue entrepreneurship, leadership or more technical orientation, each of these programs provide further specialization as concentrations for any COBA major.
Department of Marriage and Family Studies
Students in the Department of Marriage and Family Studies are trained to strengthen the lives of children, adults and families by promoting healthy development and relationships. Faculty are dedicated to helping students grow both as people of faith and in new knowledge about how families, groups, communities and societies interact. A degree in Marriage and Family Studies empowers you to harness knowledge about the complexity of human relationships and gain the practical skills to support children and families in professions such as counseling, healthcare and social services.
Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics prepares you for lifelong growth as a scholar and explorer of math, developing in you the critical and analytical skills to teach, lead and solve real-world problems that, in turn, enrich the lives of others.
Department of Music
The Department of Music prepares outstanding musicians and leaders who reflect and celebrate God's creative presence in our lives and art.
Department of Occupational Therapy
The Department of Occupational Therapy trains students to help people who are coping with a physical or cognitive limitation to participate fully in their desired and needed activities. The Department offers both a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, both of which are accredited by the American Council on Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).

The Department of Psychology interprets the nature and needs of humankind through a biblical perspective, offering a deep understanding of human behavior and mental processes.
Dukes School of Finance
The Dukes School of Finance prepares students to make an impact in the business world, offering an undergraduate degree in finance and preparing students to pursue a graduate degree in a related Business field of study. School of Social Work
Students in the School of Social Work dedicate their careers to improving the lives of others. You will be trained to employ evidence-based interventions to offer hope, healing and equitable treatment for individuals, families, groups and communities, demonstrating God’s hope and healing for the world in tangible ways. Our programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and include a 3+2 or 4+1 bachelor’s and master’s program.
