Baptist Studies Center

The Baptist Studies Center prepares students for ministry in the Baptist church, emphasizing training in Baptist history and theology and mentoring. Students of different religious backgrounds learn from each other, creating a richer educational experience.

Carl Spain Center on Race Studies and Spiritual Action

The Carl Spain Center promotes racial unity in the church through a focus on spiritual formation and critical inquiry. The center promotes research on the historical and contemporary role of race and racism in the church and its Christian institutions. It also emphasizes spiritual formation through the practices of prayer, solitude, biblical meditation, and silence.

Center for Restoration Studies

The Center for Restoration Studies is a repository of rare books, letters, audio recordings and other archival materials and artifacts connected with the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement. It supports the teaching of historical research at ACU and makes materials available to researchers around the world.

The Center for the Study of Ancient and Religious Texts (CSART), is a community of scholars engaged in research in a variety of ancient languages. It facilitates opportunities for students to work directly with ancient manuscripts and participate in advanced research on ancient texts.

Center for Women in Christian Ministry

The Center for Women in Christian Ministry provides both practical and relational resources for women pursuing ministry around the world, whether as ordained ministers or lay leaders. It facilitates a supportive community that extends past the bounds of the campus.

Center for Youth and Family Ministry

The Center for Youth and Family Ministry equips youth and family ministers, church leaderships and para-church organizations to serve the spiritual needs of young people. It provides education, tools and resources for ministers across the nation.

Siburt Institute for Church Ministry

The Siburt Institute for Church Ministry offers resources and best practices for leading congregational communities in pursuit of God’s mission in the world and provides avenues for the spiritual formation of Christian leaders. Siburt Institute programs and services focus on forming ministers, resourcing congregations, networking leaders and reflecting on faith and culture.

Summit

Summit is an annual gathering for spiritual renewal where believers engage in lively conversation about faith and life, listen to nationally known speakers, participate in uplifting worship, and learn about opportunities to serve around the world.

The Pruett Gerontology Center

The Pruett Gerontology Center educates and trains students for careers with older adults. It also provides resources for the broader community on topics such as aging, caregiving and political advocacy.

Discernment Journal

Discernment is a journal of practical theology. In language accessible to the church, it presents peer-reviewed work by scholar-practitioners describing Christian ministry in a broad array of contexts.
