Our online Master of Business Administration (MBA) students think from a local perspective while striving to make a global impact with their ideas. ACU’s program takes a holistic approach that’s broadly applicable across a range of fields. Courses promoting leadership, organizational innovation, data-supported decision-making and ethics refine what you know and impart concepts you can apply in your current position. Because leadership takes a number of forms, cultivate a more specific skill set with a concentration in line with your career goals. Obtaining your MBA will set you apart in the job market and we offer six different tracks so you can customize your degree to your career goals. ACU’s Online Master of Business Administration degree is offered through a partnership between the College of Business Administration and the College of Leadership and Professional Studies at our ACU Dallas campus.

Earn a certificate while completing your master’s degree.
While enrolled in the Business Analytics concentration of the Master of Business Administration program, you will also earn a graduate-level Certificate in Business Analytics. Earn this valuable credential as you progress through your degree at no additional cost.

Healthcare Administration

Through the Healthcare Administration concentration, you’ll gain the specialized knowledge and academic qualifications to lead in this fast-paced, demanding environment. In conjunction with core courses, you will connect strategic business knowledge with policies, regulations and patient needs to make an impact as a leader in the healthcare industry.
International Business
Even if rooted locally, businesses take an increasingly international approach, stretching across supply chains and customers served. The International Business concentration explores the evolving global business environment, including multinational management, logistics and business practices, to develop and enhance leadership skills for administrative roles in the U.S. and abroad.
Marketing
Gain the knowledge and skills to create more effective marketing plans. Through the Marketing concentration, you’ll delve into consumer-based buying motivations, research exploration of new trends and integrating communication methods. Additionally, you’ll understand how to use technology and analytics to quantify campaign results and orchestrate brand initiatives.
Nonprofit Leadership
Focused on leaders interested in working in the nonprofit sector, this concentration guides you to develop skills in adaptive leadership, administration, funding-raising techniques, grant-writing fundamentals, program evaluation, and financial reporting. You will also engage in data-informed decision-making to expand your mission-centered passion to serve and lead nonprofits within your communities.
Operations and Supply Chain Management
Supply chains are increasingly complex and global. This concentration exposes you to integral, universally in-demand organizational operations to improve efficiency within your business and along the supply chain. In the process, you’ll learn about project management, operations strategies, lean Six Sigma, inventory management, and the essential importance of supply chain processes.
Meet the Program Director
Dr. Nancy Kucinski, Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Dr. Nancy Kucinski is a Professor of Management and the Program Director for the Online Business Programs at ACU. She earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas Tech University and a Ph.D. in Organizations, Strategy, and International Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Kucinski has more than thirty years of teaching experience and was a Dean at her former university. In addition, she is a guest professor at the University of Applied Sciences-Salzburg, Austria where she often travels to teach. She enjoys the virtual learning environment where she encourages students to engage with the course content as well as with each other. She is also interested in studying and researching in the areas of environmental sustainability, eco-tourism, and intercultural understanding. Nancy is married to Dale, a retired airline pilot. They live on a small ranch outside of Abilene and have one son, Neal, who lives in New Braunfels.

Introducing the Fast Lane option for ACU’s online MBA! This option allows students with high academic standing to take two courses per session, reducing the typical 24-month degree timeline to just 12 to 15 months. With Fast Lane, you can complete your degree sooner and achieve your career goals faster than ever.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for admission, all students must:
- Complete the online program application accompanied by a non-refundable processing fee.
- Submit official transcripts showing earned bachelor’s from a regionally accredited college or university or the equivalent.
- Submit a current resume and letter of intent; letters of recommendation may be requested by the Program Director.
- Have completed course prerequisites which include basic accounting, economics, and statistics. ACU offers short courses to help any student who does not meet these requirements.
In addition, to be admitted to the Fast Lane MBA program, students must:
- Have a minimum 3.25 undergraduate or graduate GPA for admission. Applicants with a 2.95 to 3.24 GPA can be reviewed for probationary admission.
In addition, to be admitted to the standard MBA program, students must:
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, probationary status may be granted to applicants with a 2.5 – 2.9 GPA and 2+ years of work experience.
- Have at least 2 years of demonstrated full-time responsibility in professional or entrepreneurial positions, OR a satisfactory GMAT score (50th percentile or better). Acceptable (equivalent) GRE score (50th percentile or better) may be substituted for the GMAT with the approval of the Program Director.
- NOTE: Program Director may waive GMAT or professional work requirements for ACU students who have above a 3.0 GPA.
In recent years, organizations have questioned what it means to be a manager or team leader. Competence is just part of the picture. Instead, these individuals are prepared to contend with new challenges, devote themselves to upholding yet evolving organizational culture and routinely look ahead to incorporate the latest advancements in technology and data analysis. This combination leads to more refined, supported decisions and encourages collaboration among teams and departments.
As industry, government and nonprofit organizations rethink what it means to be a leader, an increasing number of opportunities for individuals with strong communication skills, a multifaceted business background and an understanding of data applications have emerged across a range of industries. Reflecting this shift, the Bureau of Labor Statistics identifies 9% growth of management occupations between 2020 and 2030.
