Fraternities and Sororities
Fraternities and Sororities, formerly known as Social Clubs, have a rich history at Abilene Christian University. Members form long-lasting friendships as they participate together in events such as service projects, devotionals, retreats, formal social events, and Sing Song. Fraternities and Sororities value academic and spiritual excellence by living out the ACU mission.

Fall and Spring
Our rushing and joining season officially begins in January, where ALL students, freshmen included, are permitted to participate in Greek life. There will be some open rushes during the fall, but the majority of the activities will take place in the spring. Sing Song and Homecoming will continue to serve as significant opportunities for alumni to return to campus, and new fraternity and sorority members will continue to participate in the Homecoming parade. Greek life at ACU has grown to include first-year students and will also expand their commitment to philanthropy and spiritual formation.
Together, we are committed to ensuring our university continues to provide students a vibrant Christ-centered experience.
