ACU’s campus culture embraces diversity of people and cultures around the world as a reflection of God’s love and creativity. Student organizations and the Office of Multicultural Affairs celebrate what makes each of us so unique and foster a dynamic environment with events that uplift everyone on campus.
Our dedication to spiritual growth is integral to life at ACU, and we pursue it every day through chapel services, community learning opportunities, ministry trips and in the small moments, such as our conversations between classes.
Living on Campus
We equip you for the challenges and rewards of a campus environment with a variety of residential housing options and on-campus resources, including a fitness and wellness center, dining options and communal spaces to study, socialize and relax.
Find your passion for anything from swing dance to ultimate frisbee in our 100+ student organizations, sororities and fraternities. These student-run groups offer opportunities to dive deep into athletic, academic, artistic and social interests while building relationships and practicing leadership skills.
Recreation and Wellness
At the center of campus, ACU’s top-notch recreation and wellness center provides facilities, equipment and trained staff to help you maintain healthy habits, compete in intramurals and try new ways to stay active.
With 15 NCAA Division I athletic teams and plenty of options for club and intramural sports, you’ll play hard and cheer harder as a Wildcat. Don’t forget your purple pride for gameday!
We want you to feel safe on-campus and off-campus, so we have implemented robust safety measures to give you peace of mind. Our full-service ACU Police Department patrols campus, as well as the surrounding Abilene neighborhoods and commercial districts, to help keep you safe wherever you are. They can also provide cross-campus escorts after dark or help you with minor issues like dead car batteries or keys locked in your vehicle.
