Department of Communication and Sociology

Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders
The programs in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, accredited by ASHA, the American Speech and and Hearing Association, prepare students to serve individuals with communication disorders. The undergraduate program lays the foundation for you to pursue graduate studies in speech-language pathology or audiology. As a graduate of the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program, you’ll be prepared to take the national examination to be a licensed speech-language pathologist.
Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition
Students in the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition work as agents of change modeling wellness and living out Christian values with and for the communities and people they serve. In community, corporate, commercial and clinical settings, you will learn to embody principles of health and wellness, refining your knowledge of true wellbeing as you lead and serve others in developing physical wholeness and health.
Department of Language and Literature

Department of Management Sciences
The Department of Management Sciences is home to undergraduate programs in marketing, business management and information systems. If you want to pursue entrepreneurship, leadership or more technical orientation, each of these programs provide further specialization as concentrations for any COBA major.
Department of Marriage and Family Studies
Students in the Department of Marriage and Family Studies are trained to strengthen the lives of children, adults and families by promoting healthy development and relationships. Faculty are dedicated to helping students grow both as people of faith and in new knowledge about how families, groups, communities and societies interact. A degree in Marriage and Family Studies empowers you to harness knowledge about the complexity of human relationships and gain the practical skills to support children and families in professions such as counseling, healthcare and social services.
Department of Occupational Therapy
The Department of Occupational Therapy trains students to help people who are coping with a physical or cognitive limitation to participate fully in their desired and needed activities. The Department offers both a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, both of which are accredited by the American Council on Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
