ACU isn’t just a campus; it’s a mainstay of the broader Abilene, Texas community, a hub of excellent dining, captivating cultural events and plenty of local coffee shops and boutiques. We engage with our 120,000 neighbors through service projects and partnerships, plentiful celebrations, farmers markets and leisure. For the broader Texas experience, Abilene is located in the middle of everything: 2.5 hours from Dallas/Fort Worth, 3 hours from Austin and 5 hours from the beauty of the Gulf Coast.
