The Office of International Students and Visiting Scholars provides transportation services for certain purposes which include the following:
- Walmart/Grocery Shopping (every Friday from 3-5 p.m.)
- Applying for a Texas Drivers License/ID at the DPS office
- Applying for a Social Security Number at the SS office
- Airport Pick-up (new students only)
All transportation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours (not including weekends) before the requested trip date. Please also be informed that transportation requests will be accommodated based on staff availability during office hours. Otherwise, students may utilize other transportation services listed below.
Weekly Walmart Trips
The OISVS provides transportation to Walmart every Friday. Students are picked up from the Brown Library parking lot (in front of Mabee Hall) at 3 p.m. and are given 1 hour to get what they need. Students are then dropped off at their respective residence halls.
