Rules for University Testing Center

Make an appointment:

  • Online: 
  • In-person by visiting Hardin Administration Building room 118
  • Calling (325) 674-2667
  • You cannot test without a photo ID unless a member of the testing staff personally knows you.
  • If you need to cancel a testing appointment, please notify our office 24 hours in advance

Procedures:

Alpha Testing:

  • Go here to schedule an appointment. Appointments must be scheduled five days before the date of the exam. The booking website will not allow appointments to be made in the current week due to the five-day policy.
    • If you have missed the deadline and need to submit a late request, email acutesting@acu.edu. Your request will be reviewed and the testing center staff will within 24 hours.
  • If you are approved for extended time, that time will be accounted for by testing center staff. To maintain test security and integrity, do not extend past the allotted time.

University Testing:

  • Go here to schedule an appointment. Once your form has been received, testing center staff will confirm your appointment via email within 24 hours.
  • Please read your confirmation email carefully to ensure you have reviewed all information regarding your appointment.
  • Payment can be made via exact cash or check, or charged to your Banner account to be paid online. Please indicate the payment method upon check-in to your appointment.

What to expect when you arrive for your test:

  • Arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment.
  • You must present a valid photo ID upon check-in (school ID, driver’s license, passport, etc.).
  • Personal belongings such as backpacks, books, and notes are not permitted in the testing room and will need to stay in the designated locker area of the lobby.
  • Electronic devices such as cell phones and smartwatches must be turned off andplaced in an area designated by the testing staff.
