The sky’s the limit for ACU alumni at Homecoming

Alumni return home for homecoming 2022.

Abilene Christian University’s Homecoming theme, “The Sky’s the Limit,” encourages alumni to dream big and references a new element this year – a drone show to conclude the weekend.

Highlights include:

  • Homecoming Musical: Disney’s Freaky Friday – Thursday, Oct. 17, 8 p.m.; Friday, Oct. 18, 8 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 19, 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 20, 2 p.m. at Boone Family Theatre. Tickets are still available.
  • Carnival – Friday, Oct. 18, from 5-7:30 p.m. on the Hardin Administration Building lawn featuring games, inflatables, a science show, food trucks and more.
  • Homecoming Candlelight Devo – Friday, Oct. 18, at 7:45 p.m. on the steps of the Hardin Administration Building, a time of worship with several generations of Wildcats.
  • Midnight Worship –Friday, Oct. 18, 11 p.m.-midnight, Moody Coliseum.
  • Parade – Saturday, Oct. 19, 10 a.m., beginning on East North 16th Street.
  • Homecoming Chapel – Saturday, Oct. 19, 11:15 a.m. in Moody Coliseum.
  • Wildcat Country Tailgating – Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning at 1 p.m. at Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium. 
  • Wildcat football, ACU vs. Eastern Kentucky – Saturday, Oct. 19, 3 p.m. at Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium. Tickets are still available.
  • Drone show, desserts and live music – Saturday, Oct. 19, 8 p.m. at Hunter Welcome Center Patio and Labyrinth
