President Phil Schubert
Dr. Phil Schubert became the 11th president of Abilene Christian University on June 1, 2010. A 1991 graduate of ACU, he received his B.B.A. in accounting from ACU, an MBA from Duke University and an Ed.D. in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania.

Since its founding in 1906, ACU has been blessed with stable, visionary leadership, beginning with A.B. Barret, ACU’s founder and first president, who dreamed of establishing a Christian college in West Texas.
