ACU ALERT is an emergency notification system that gives Abilene Christian University the ability to send urgent and emergency information quickly by email and text message.

This is a free service to all ACU students, faculty and staff. If you have a good cell phone number registered with ACU, you will automatically receive messages unless you choose to opt out. You may opt out at any time by replying to the ACU ALERT messages with the word STOP.

If you don’t have a cell phone number registered with ACU, you can still opt in to this service. To enroll, log in to the user registration page with your email username and password, and complete the subsequent form. You can provide up to two cell phone numbers and one email address to receive the alerts.

This service is powered by e2Campus OMNILERT – a national mass notification solutions provider. Contact information you provide to the alert service will only be used for delivering emergency information through e2Campus. E2Campus also has strict “Zero Spam” and usage policies to protect subscribers.

We will use e2Campus for all alerts. Emergency lockdowns, weather alerts, residential hall closings and any necessary mass alerts will be included in these forms of communication.
