All Undergraduate Degree Programs

For students called to the ministry of teaching, Abilene Christian University offers undergraduate education majors that prepare you to teach in settings from early childhood through elementary, middle and high school. We also have programs to prepare you to become licensed to teach special education and all-level subjects such as music, theatre, art and Spanish.

All Master’s Degree Programs

The Department of Education offers a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning with an initial certification track. Undergraduate students at Abilene Christian University can participate in the 4+1 program by beginning your master’s coursework while you are finishing your bachelor’s degree and complete your master’s degree and apply for teacher certification with just one additional year of courses.

Abilene Christian University is a member in good standing of the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP).The Teacher Education Program has been awarded full accreditation by AAQEP through June 30, 2026.
