August 13, 2021 – Campus Update

ACU Community,

The excitement is building for a new school year, and we are eager to welcome the initial wave of students arriving for Wildcat Week!

Be watchful when navigating traffic around campus this weekend, especially on East North 16th Street, where families will be helping move their students into Bullock Hall for the first time. This new hall – the anchor building of what will become our innovative Freshman Village – is amazing!

Students also will soon begin to hear from faculty members about their courses, including if special health precautions are needed in their respective learning environments. Faculty, staff and students are always welcome to wear face masks, and to help keep our campus safe, they could be required in some classes and other spaces this fall. At this time, face masks are not required in most places on campus.

Vaccination is strongly recommended to help keep our community safe and our access to campus operations as normal as possible. We deeply appreciate all who have notified the ACU Medical Clinic about their vaccination status. If you have not already done so, you can upload your card here. Our Coronavirus website is always the best place to check for the most recent information and protocols. The Weber Medical Clinic on campus has the Moderna and J&J vaccinations available, with walk-ins welcome.

We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines and take additional action or revise our protocols as necessary to ensure campus health and safety.

Watch your email for upcoming communications about events connected to the start of the fall semester, be healthy, travel safely and join all of us in our growing anticipation about being together again. God has been so good to us, and we are grateful. Let’s work together to make ACU’s 115th school year the best and most memorable ever.

Go Wildcats!
