Meet James Bradshaw

“I was looking for a faith-based school where I could grow my faith and become better as a student of theatre, and ACU just had that perfect balance of everything I was looking for.”

James is from Wylie, Texas, and is a musical theater major.

Where can you find James on campus?

  • Serving the community as part of LYNAY (Love Your Neighbor as Yourself)
  • Repping the Wildcats as a sports marketing intern
  • Serving as master of ceremony for ACU events
  • Guiding campus tours for prospective students

Meet Branden Broadnax

Why did you choose ACU?

“A big distinction that ACU makes is including Christian values in its teaching. Professors incorporate questions of spirituality into post-labs. It really gives you something to think about.”

Brandon is from Springfield, Missouri, and is a biochemistry major.

Where can you find Brandon on campus?

  • With his fraternity, Galaxy
  • Serving the community as part of LYNAY
  • Working on the administrative team for the Intramurals Office and as a student director for Wildcat Week

What’s the best thing about ACU?

“The Christ-centered involvement in everything. I can see faith-based action in each thing I’m involved in.”

Why did you choose ACU?

“I think ACU, out of all universities, can prepare me for the future that God has for me.”

Alli is from Naples, Florida, and is a political science major with a public service minor.

How Alli stays involved on campus:

  • Leading ACU’s Student Government Association as the student body president
  • Participating in Ko-Jo-Kai sorority events
  • Working with the development team for ACU LEADS (Leading, Educating and
  • Developing Servants)
  • Serving the community as part of LYNAY (Love Your Neighbor as Yourself)
  • Helping new students learn about campus life as a Wildcat Week student director and community group leader
  • Performing undergraduate research projects

Meet Yourim Cho

Yourim Cho headshotWhat do you love about ACU?

“When I first came to ACU, I knew it would be hard to meet people. But what I didn’t know is that there are people, especially faculty, who really wanted to get to know me.”

All the faculty are willing to know your name. That’s really uncommon at other colleges.

Yourium is from Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and is majoring in biology.

Where you’ll find Yourim on campus:

  • Participating as a Center for Pre-Health Professions student board member, and International Students Association board member
  • Leading as president of the Biology Research Club
  • Leading as president of Undergraduate Research Scholars
  • Working as a chemistry teaching assistant and as a biology department lab technician.

Meet Thomas Lyons

Thomas is from Nashville, Tennessee, and a mechanical engineering major

How Thomas stays involved:

  • Advocating for the engineering program as a student ambassador
  • Participating in the Society of Physics Students
  • Working as a research engineer for ACU’s NEXT Lab to develop a molten salt research reactor

“I love that my extracurriculars keep me active while my academics prepare me for my future.”

Aspen is from Amarillo, Texas and is a biochemistry major with a minor in healthcare humanities.
