- 1-4 p.m. – move in to residence halls
- 5-6:30 p.m. – band check in – WPAC lobby
- 7-9:30 p.m. – meeting and auditions in percussion studio – south entrance of WPAC
Welcome percussionists! We are so excited about our 2023 marching season! Our auditions allow us to place everyone in a spot where they can make the best contribution to the section and band. Freshmen and new players to the band – it’s a great idea to audition on two instruments. While we can’t guarantee that each player will get placed on their first-choice instrument, we will find a spot for everyone who auditions.
Battery: please be prepared to play all of the warmup, using all indicated stickings. If you are auditioning on bass drum, you may choose which drum part you audition on.
Front ensemble: play mm. 17-41, no repeats
