In today’s global marketplace, studying Spanish – one of the world’s most widely spoken languages – opens the door to many career opportunities and rich life experiences.
ACU’s Spanish majors acquire language and cultural proficiency through in-depth study of language structures, cultural competency, literary knowledge and enhanced communicative skills. We strongly encourage our majors to bring their language skills to life and spend a Study Abroad semester in Uruguay or another immersion destination. Since this degree allows a considerable number of elective hours, students majoring in Spanish can often secure a major in a second field, thus enhancing their career options.
