Abilene Christian University is partnering with University Gear Shop and eCampus.com for the operation of branded merchandise and textbooks and course materials beginning March 14.
UGS will be the provider for ACU’s in-person campus store, as well as extended campus locations and a gear shop website with a deep inventory of branded merchandise and apparel. eCampus.com will be ACU’s partner for a new online bookstore with textbooks and course materials available 24/7 through a customized website.
“Our campus store – now called ACU Gear Shop – is an important way for us to further Abilene Christian’s brand. UGS will help provide quality merchandise for students, faculty, staff, alumni, future Wildcats and parents, and eCampus.com will support our faculty and students with easy access to course texts and materials,” said Lori Herrick, associate vice president of finance at ACU. “We look forward to the advantages both of these partners have to offer our ACU community.”
ACU’s campus store in the McGlothlin Campus Center will be closed March 13-17 during the transition to UGS, and the official opening of ACU Gear Shop will be March 20. The online merchandise and apparel site – acu.getugear.com – will be live on March 20 as well.
