During the month of February, Abilene Christian University has planned guest speakers, a silent disco, special Chapel speakers, discussion groups and a variety of other student activities in honor of Black History Month. Several ACU groups collaborated to plan and host the events, including the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; the Office of Multicultural Affairs; the Black Student Union; the Adams Center; the Student Government Association; and the Campus Activities Board.

- Feb. 6 – Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chapel Speaker Series: Cle Montgomery. Montgomery, a 1978 graduate of ACU, played six seasons in the NFL for the Los Angeles Raiders, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.

- Feb. 13 – Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chapel Speaker Series: Tryce Prince. Prince, a 2018 graduate of ACU, is a research consultant for ACU’s Carl Spain Center on Race Studies & Spiritual Action and a Ph.D. student in sociology at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

- Feb. 27 – Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chapel Speaker Series: Bobby Griffin. Griffin, a 1990 graduate of ACU, is the chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer at Rockwell Automation and has more than 25 years of experience in diversity and inclusion strategy at Fortune 500 companies.
