The School of Social Work at Abilene Christian University is committed to applying knowledge, best practices and evidence-based interventions to offer hope, healing and equitable treatment. Called to be our best for individuals in need, each person – faculty, staff and student – pushes themselves to refine their skills in service to others.

Graduates make contributions in health care, mental health, social enterprise, public policy, politics, children and family services, school social work, gerontology, military services, juvenile services and criminal justice, and other areas of social and community service.
