Bachelor of Science with Teacher Certification
Computer Science and Math with Teacher Certification (CSMT) is a cooperative degree with the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Teacher Education, combining intense study in computer science and mathematics with teacher training to prepare you to teach these subjects at the high school level.

Digital Entertainment and Technology
Bachelor of Science
Gain the skills to create digital content that can lead to a wide range of employment opportunities like animator, digital storyteller, level designer, UI/UX designer and much more.

Just one week before she began, 19 students and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde lost their lives to a mass shooter. When Davis began her apprenticeship, she was immediately charged with helping to set up and monitor livestreams of approximately 15 of the funerals that stretched over several days.

The undergraduate Computer Science – Computing Theory program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org. Information about program educational objectives, student outcomes, enrollment and graduation information can be found below.

1. Use Christian principles in evaluating issues and making ethical decisions.
2. Demonstrate broad, integrated knowledge in core technology areas related to their fields of study.
3. Exhibit critical thinking, communication, leadership and career development appropriate for technology professionals.

Graduates of the program will have an ability to:

  1. Analyze a complex computing problem and to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions.
  2. Design, implement and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program’s discipline.
  3. Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts.
  4. Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in computing practice based on legal and ethical principles.
  5. Function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline.
  6. Apply computer science theory and software development fundamentals to produce computing-based solutions.
