Doctoral degree programs within the ACU Graduate School of Theology in the College of Biblical Studies are a space of synthesis and integration. Here, our experience in ministry shapes the questions we ask in rigorous theological study, and scholarly endeavors sharpen our leadership and ministry practice, thereby helping to deepen your spiritual identity and sustain your ongoing ministry.

Departments

Graduate degree programs within the College of Biblical Studies are offered through two departments. The Graduate School of Theology offers more than a dozen degrees in ministry, missions and biblical studies. The graduate program in the Department of Marriage and Family Studies combines theory and clinical training to prepare students to be marriage and family therapists and to equip families for healthy relationships in both secular and Christian settings.

Department of Marriage and Family Studies

Students in the Department of Marriage and Family Studies are trained to strengthen the lives of children, adults and families by promoting healthy development and relationships. Faculty are dedicated to helping students grow both as people of faith and in new knowledge about how families, groups, communities and societies interact. A degree in Marriage and Family Studies empowers you to harness knowledge about the complexity of human relationships and gain the practical skills to support children and families in professions such as counseling, healthcare and social services.
