How do I apply to the ACU Master of Accountancy (MAcc)?

Complete an online application, which you can access at the button below and page the $65 application fee.
Required information/documents:
- An official transcript(s) in English (or translated to English) of all previous
colleges attended. The transcript must indicate an earned bachelor’s degree from
a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent; - Applicants have earned a minimum GPA (overall) of 3.0 from a college or
university in the United States; including a minimum 3.0 GPA in their
undergraduate accounting courses; - Applicants without an undergraduate degree in accounting will be expected to
earn a 3.0 GPA in their accounting leveling course before taking more than 6
hours of graduate work; - Two letters of recommendation (may be submitted through the online
application); - A satisfactory GMAT score (generally a 50th percentile or better) may be required
of any student who applies to the MAcc program and who has not completed 24
or more semester hours at ACU with a minimum GPA of 3.00 [this requirement is
waived for applicants with a minimum GPA of 3.5].; - A written personal statement of academic interests, strengths and weaknesses.

When is the MAcc application deadline?
We make rolling admission decisions year round, so there is no specific deadline.
Do I need an undergraduate degree in accounting to be considered for ACU MAcc admission?
No, we will consider those with undergraduate degrees in other fields, with the condition that they complete the necessary prerequisite undergraduate courses.

Is there a minimum GPA or GMAT score required?
Applicants who have not completed at least 24 semester hours at ACU with a minimum GPA of 3.0, must submit a satisfactory GMAT score (50th percentile or better). This requirement is waived for graduates from other programs with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Is the MAcc program accredited?
Yes. The MAcc program is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).
What is the average GMAT score and GPA of an admitted student?
We do not require a GMAT score for candidates who take their undergraduate accounting courses at ACU. For applicants who take their accounting courses elsewhere, we expect a GMAT score in the 50th percentile or higher.
Can I provide a GRE or LSAT score instead of a GMAT score?
We will accept GRE scores, but not LSAT scores.
What is an appropriate length for the purpose statement?
Your purpose statement should be 1 to 1 ½ pages, double-spaced.
