The Specialist in School Psychology (S.S.P.) at ACU is a 60-hour, three-year graduate program combining coursework, 600 hours of practicum, and 1,200 hours of internship experience while preparing graduates to apply for licensure in Texas and for national certification through the National School Psychology Certification Board.
Graduates of the specialist in school psychology program pursue careers as school psychologists or behavior interventionists.
The Specialist in School Psychology program has been fully approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
