The Doctor of Occupational Therapy (O.T.D.) at ACU is a 29 month, 85-hour graduate program combining classroom instruction, fieldwork, and a 14-week doctoral capstone experience while preparing graduates to sit for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam and pursue licensure as an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR).
Graduates of the doctoral program in occupational therapy pursue careers as occupational therapists in healthcare clinics, schools, pediatric and elder care settings, and other professional environments.
