The Master of Athletic Training (M.A.T.) at ACU is a two-year, 55-hour graduate program combining coursework and clinical practice while preparing graduates for the State of Texas Athletic Training Licensure and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (BOC) exams. MAT students gain experience with multiple sports teams and clinical settings over six semesters and complete a 4–6 week full-time immersion in professional practice.
Graduates of the master’s in athletic training pursue careers in schools, colleges and universities, sports medicine clinics, hospitals, and more.
ACU’s Master of Athletic Training program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
