General Terms and Conditions:

This MOU becomes effective on the date both parties have signed the MOU. The agreement is valid only for students completing coursework in an ACU Online Program. Scholarship eligibility is terminated upon suspension, dismissal or University withdrawal. ACU reserves the right to change scholarship awards at any time without notice. ACU scholarships may not be combined with any other scholarship or discount. At the time in which final, official transcripts are received, ACU reserves the right to rescind or modify the scholarship if it is determined that eligibility was not achieved.

New first-time ACU Online students who meet eligibility requirements of:

  • Attending an approved community college partner by way of transcript review in 2019 or after
  • Not enrolled in an ACU Online degree program previously
  • Are not placed on academic suspension or dismissed during the program
  • Are not a current employee of ACU
  • Students must maintain good academic standing throughout the program
  • Scholarship eligibility is terminated upon suspension, dismissal or University Withdrawal

ACU Online Spring I 2026 4th Term Undergraduate Achievement Award

For students entering their coursework in Spring I 2026, a tuition waiver equivalent to one course ($1,185) will be granted upon entering of the fourth part of term by entering the first 7-week course beginning on January 13, 2026. Please take note of the following terms and conditions associated with this acknowledgment:

This is an acknowledgment that is dependent upon the following terms and conditions:

  • Upon the successful completion of three parts of the term, eligible students will automatically receive a tuition waiver equivalent to one course in the fourth part of the term. This opportunity to save begins with the first class.
  • This does not apply to students using ACU’s employee tuition benefit.
  • Students must remain continuously enrolled and successfully complete a minimum of three courses with a GPA of 2.5 or higher from the award date (first part of the term) to when the scholarship is applied (fourth part of the term).
  • Successful completion means earning the grade required by the curriculum as outlined in the ACU catalog.
  • Students who do not meet these criteria in the first three parts of the term will not be awarded.
  • This acknowledgment is applicable only to new, first-time enrolling degree students and excludes single courses, BSN to DNP, undergraduate certificate programs, and all graduate-level programs.
  • This tuition waiver applies solely to tuition; additional costs such as books, supplies, and other fees are not covered.
  • Transfer credits are not considered towards earning the tuition award.

ACU Online Spring I 2026 Graduate Academic Achievement Award MOU

Select graduate students will have their 4th course free (up to $1,950 offered as a tuition discount) by entering the first 7-week course beginning on January 13, 2026.

This is an acknowledgment that is dependent upon the following terms and conditions:

  • Following the successful completion of at least 6 credit hours, you will be eligible to receive the achievement scholarship (equal to one free course) for your fourth-course registration.
  • Enrollment is automatic for eligible students. Your opportunity to save begins with your first class.
  • Tuition credit is earned only after successfully completing courses and will be lost if you withdraw or suspend your coursework at any time.
  • Successful completion means earning the grade required by the curriculum as outlined in the ACU catalog.
  • Only new first-time enrolling graduate students entering Spring 1 2026 are eligible for this award – excludes single course students, the Master of Marriage and Family Therapy and Graduate School of Theology programs.
  • Tuition only – books, supplies, and other fees apply.
  • Dissertation, continuation credits and transfer credits are excluded from earning the tuition awards.
  • Students receiving ACU’s employee tuition benefit or an athletic scholarship are not eligible.

ACU Online Spring I 2026 Doctor of Education Academic Achievement Award MOU

This Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) is between Abilene Christian University Online and eligible students entering the Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership or Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership program. The scholarship award is a tuition discount and has no monetary value.

Benefits Offered by University:

The University will provide a $2,300 scholarship in the form of a tuition reduction to eligible new students entering the Doctor of Education programs. All students are subject to the University’s student policies.

Scholarship Structure

The University and eligible students agree to the following scholarship application structure:

  • Ed.D. students will have their 4th course free (up to $2,300 offered as a tuition discount) by entering the first 7-week course beginning on January 13, 2026.
  • Awarding of the Academic Achievement Award will apply to coursework during the aforementioned sessions only. Students must be registered in coursework in each session to receive the scholarship.
  • Only new, first-time graduate students enrolling in Spring 2026 are eligible for this award, excluding single-course students and students in the Graduate School of Theology programs.
  • Tuition only – books, supplies and other fees apply.
  • Dissertation, continuation credits and transfer credits are excluded from earning the tuition awards.
  • Students receiving ACU’s employee tuition benefit or an athletic scholarship are not eligible.

ACU Online Transfer Pathway MOU

This Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) is between Abilene Christian University and eligible students transferring from an approved Community College Partner. The scholarship award is a tuition discount and has no monetary value.

Benefits Offered by University:

The University will provide a $3,555 scholarship in the form of a tuition reduction to eligible community college transfer students entering an ACU Online Undergraduate program. The purpose of this scholarship is to offset the tuition costs of the 9 credit hours of Bible courses required of all undergraduate students at the university. All students are subject to the University’s student policies.

Scholarship Structure

  • The University and new first-time students transferring from an approved Community College agree to the following program structure:
  • Tuition credit will be applied in the term the student first enrolls in nine hours of Bible courses.
  • The transfer scholarship is a tuition discount and has no cash value. Students must be registered in coursework in each session to receive the scholarship.
  • The scholarship may not be applied to course retakes.
