If you are currently receiving treatment from a physician back home, your care may be continued here while you are an ACU student. In order for our psychiatrist, to ensure continuity of care, it will be important for you to complete an Authorization to Release Information form when you first arrive on campus.
We offer extensive psychiatric outpatient care at the ACU Medical and Counseling Care Center. Our experienced psychiatrist manages medications for patients diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and treats mental health concerns such as bipolar disorder, major depression, anxiety, and many other conditions. As with all services at the MACCC, treatment is completely confidential. Psychiatric care is offered during the following hours and fees:

Payment of charges incurred will be billed to the students ACU Banner account, or the student may pay by cash, check, or credit card at the time of service. The ACU Medical Clinic does not accept insurance.
Policy on Missed or Cancelled Appointments
Psychiatric visits not cancelled at least three hours in advance of the appointment time or “no shows” will be charged $40.00 for the visit. Dr. Casada usually has several patients on a wait list. Please consider others when you are unable to keep your appointment.
