Legal Compliance Initiative

The Office of General Counsel, with the approval of the President’s Senior Leadership Team and the Board’s Audit Committee, has instituted a legal compliance initiative aimed at addressing the ever-increasing burden of federal legal compliance. This initiative utilizes a decentralized matrix model, which relies on existing administrative structures and assigns specific university administrators with both cognizant and functional compliance responsibilities for each compliance area and regulation.
