Need to Know Checklist
We know you’re juggling high school graduation, extracurricular activities, social activities and so much more. To make the process of starting your freshman year as smooth as possible, here’s a complete checklist of everything you need to know.
- Celebrate! You’re taking the next step toward shaping your career.
- Visit campus! If you haven’t already, schedule a campus visit. Register online at acu.edu/visit.
- Accept your offer of admission and submit your nonrefundable $600 enrollment deposit to secure your spot for the Class of 2028.
- Shop ACU gear for the fall.
- Follow our social media accounts @acuedu and tag us with your ACU gear!
- Submit your residence hall preference.
- Register for New Student Orientation (NSO). Registration opens March 1. Once registered for NSO, your academic advisor will begin preparing your fall schedule with personalized courses tailored to you.
- Complete ACU 101, an online orientation course that must be completed before move-in.
- Schedule an appointment with your admissions counselor.
- Keep an eye out in your student portal for financial aid updates.
- Select your housing and roommate by July 1.
- Pack your bags and get ready to move in August 20!
- Make lasting friendships in your new community during Wildcat Week August 20-23.
- Start learning! Classes begin August 26.
