Chapel at ACU

Chapel is the time when ACU students, faculty and staff come together for worship and community. Our commitment to praising God and learning from Scripture is foundational to our Christian identity.

We provide a variety of different Chapel formats, styles, times and locations so that all students can pursue spiritual transformation.

Mondays in Moody

Praise Day Fridays

Close out your week with a high-energy, joyful time of praise. On most Fridays, the entire Chapel time is dedicated to worshiping through song with our many talented musicians and praise leaders. Praise Day Fridays are a highlight of the ACU experience.

Departmental Chapels

Monthly Departmental Chapels are a time to build community with the other students, faculty and staff in your major. You’ll focus on themes like connecting your faith with your vocation and hear from faculty about their faith journeys. Many departments provide free lunch afterward. Find details in the Suitable app or by asking your department admin.

Small Group Chapels

Small Group Chapels allow you to experience spiritual formation with like-minded students in a more intimate setting. Students are able to create Small Group Chapels around their faith denominations, social clubs, residence halls, hobbies, social justice causes and many other interests. You can join an existing group or start your own. Feel free to explore and find the community that challenges you to become who you’re called to be.
