Opportunities to support ACU Theatre

ACU Theatre is thrilled to present On Broadway Cabaret, our annual Lights Up fundraiser. Proceeds from Lights Up ticket sales and any donations received will benefit ACU Theatre and the Abilene Performing Arts Company.

Join us Saturday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. and stay for our curtain call reception. Individual tickets are $65 each. Seating is at tables of four and includes a charcuterie board during the event and dessert during intermission. We also have several sponsorship opportunities:

  • Diamond level
    $2,500 – includes four tables, four swag bags, four season ticket packages and program recognition
  • Platinum level
    $1,000 – includes three tables, three swag bags, three season ticket packages and program recognition
  • Gold level
    $750 – includes two tables, two swag bags, two season ticket packages and program recognition
  • Silver level
    $500 – includes one table, one swag bag, one season ticket package and program recognition

Why Give to Lights Up!

The money raised for “Lights Up!” has allowed the ACU Theatre to dramatically increase opportunities for the department by helping fund:

  • Agents and casting directors from New York City and other regional areas invited to attend our Senior Showcase. This is an effort to gain our graduates representation in the professional world of performing.
    Workshops throughout the year provided by theatre in dance, design, vocal and acting techniques, etc.
  • Assistance for our students to attend unified auditions and conferences.
    Guest designers and artists, accompanists, support staff in costume and scenic shops, etc.
  • Various equipment needs that face the department from year to year.

In short, the department has come to depend on “Lights Up!” to enable the continued commitment to excellence.

Matching Gifts

Faculty and staff inspire our students’ minds every day. Their hard work is critical to students’ success. The faculty and staff at the ACU Theatre have chosen to go above and beyond by making a financial contribution. If you are an ACU faculty or staff member, you can choose payroll deduction and have your donation automatically deducted from your paycheck. This is an easy way to spread your gift over a period of time. Fill out the Payroll Deduction Authorization Form, indicate Lights Up! and mail it to:
