Happy New Year! Even if your printed copy of ACU Today’s Fall-Winter 2013 issue has not yet arrived in the mail (it’s on the way), you can sneak a peak at the online version now. The printed issue is 80 pages but another 50 pages of Bonus Coverage bring the online version to more than 130 pages of great images and stories about the latest from Abilene Christian University.
From Abilene to Africa and beyond, ACU students benefit each summer from unique internship opportunities that enrich their education and often lead to offers of full-time employment. That’s the cover story of this issue – “The Power of Internships” – and it features a look at students who served in life-changing, career-affirming internships around the world last summer. And in our online-only Bonus Coverage, you’ll find another three profiles of students who interned in San Antonio, Cambodia and Honduras. We give special emphasis in a sidebar, “All in the Family,” to alumni who make internships possible for current Wildcats.
