Living Jesus is a new book and film series released this month by Abilene Christian University’s Leafwood Publishers. Both feature the work of Randy Harris, instructor of Bible, missions and ministry at ACU. He was the university’s Teacher of the Year in 2011, and is a popular lecturer on campus and in churches and conferences around the nation.
The soft-cover book (Doing What Jesus Says in the Sermon on the Mount, 150 pages, $13.99) is accompanied by a 12-part video series (How the Greatest Sermon Ever Will Change Your Life for Good, two DVDs with eight-page discussion guide, $24.99).
Harris’ also has authored God Work: Confessions of a Stand-Up Theologian and Soul Work: Confessions of a Part-Time Monk. He teaches theology, ethics and preaching in ACU’s College of Biblical Studies, and was voted by students as ACU’s Teacher of the Year in 2011.
