Best-selling author Hal Runkel (’00 M.M.F.T.) is scheduled to appear Monday on NBC’s “Today” show at about 7 a.m. CST. Runkel, founder and president of The ScreamFree Institute, will be talking about how to tame temper tantrums in children.
Runkel’s ScreamFree Parenting was a 2007 best-selling book that has helped him become known as an expert in helping families face conflict and create healthy relationships. The licensed therapist, relationship coach, international speaker and organizational consultant has appeared on the “Today” show seven times, as well as on “The 700 Club” and in Redbook and Good Housekeeping, and featured in many other media outlets. He also earned a M.S. degree in biblical and related studies from ACU in 1998.
