Recent donations from generous friends have created a $3 million challenge grant for the Royce and Pam Money Student Recreation and Wellness Center at Abilene Christian University.
Construction is well underway for the 113,000-square-foot facility to renovate and significantly expand the Gibson Health and P.E. Center first built in 1968.  Its opening is on schedule for August 2011.
Anonymous donors will match 1:1 any gifts made to the project by June 30, potentially bringing ACU within $3.5 million of the $21 million project.
