Run4Rex, a 5K walk/run event to help pay for medical treatment of Rex Fleming, is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 19, at 9 a.m.
Rex, the 8-year-old son of Lance Fleming (’92), Abilene Christian University’s assistant director of athletics for media relations, is being treated for brain cancer that was diagnosed in December. Lance is sports editor of ACU Today magazine. Rex has been his dad’s almost constant companion at Wildcat games, as well as a familiar face to ACU fans.
You can download a registration form for the Run4Rex event here.  Check-in is from 8-8:45 a.m. the day of the event, which begins at Crutcher Scott Field on ACU’s campus.
