Dr. Tony Roach (’92 D.Min.) will be among 10 finalists to appear as a contestant on “Your OWN Show: Oprah’s Search for the Next TV Star” when the series debuts Jan. 7 on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
OWN, which used to be the Discovery Health Channel, began broadcasting at noon today.
Roach, the longtime evangelist for Abilene’s Minda Street Church of Christ, appears in the Jan. 10 issue of People magazine. He earned this opportunity when his audition video finished among the international leaders of online voting that ended several months ago.
