Alumni and friends of Abilene Christian University are invited to accompany Dr. Gary McCaleb (’64), Dr. Phil Schubert (’91) and Dr. Brent (’86) and Melinda (Stucker ’93) Isbell on a 10-day tour of Israel, June 9-19, 2011.
The itinerary for In the Land of the Bible will take participants to historic sites such as Caesarea, Mount Carmel, Capernaum, Nazareth, Chorazim, Mt. Tabor, the Jordan River, Jericho, the Dead Sea, Bethany, and Jerusalem.
McCaleb, vice president of the university, first visited Israel in 1983 and has helped host seven tours there since. Schubert is president of ACU, and Brent Isbell is the pulpit minister for Abilene’s University Church of Christ.
