Abilene Christian University president Dr. Phil Schubert (’91) kicked off ACU’s “Season of Caring” in Chapel on Wednesday, an organized effort to help unite the generosity of students, faculty and staff during the upcoming holidays.
Mark Hewitt, founder and executive director of Abilene’s Love & Care Ministries, spoke in Chapel in Moody Coliseum about his organization’s annual “Mission Thanksgiving” and “Christmas on the Streets” which help the homeless and poor in Abilene.
The ACU family will have multiple opportunities to donate, give and volunteer from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15. More information can be found here.
