
The events begin Monday, Aug. 23, at 10:30 a.m. CST, a half hour earlier than Opening Assembly usually starts on the first day of each fall semester, and will run until about noon. A full house is expected in Moody Coliseum to see the Parade of Flags and other first-day traditions in Opening Assembly, plus the Inauguration of ACU’s first new president in 19 years.
Other events in the Inauguration celebration included a dinner Saturday night and a prayer breakfast Monday morning.
Schubert (’91) began work June 1 in the role previously held by 10th president Dr. Royce Money (’64), who is now the university’s chancellor.
