Kevin Roberts assumed the position of Chief Information Officer for Abilene Christian University July 1, according to Phil Schubert, executive vice president of ACU. "Kevin's breadth of knowledge and critical thinking ability stand out and will undoubtedly position him for continued success in this strategic role," said Schubert. "Under Roberts' leadership over the past year, the Information Systems team has been responsible for several effective and innovative strategies that position ACU favorably."
Roberts received a bachelor's degree from ACU in 1988, and began his work at ACU in 1999 as the director of re-engineering. He has been serving as ACU's interim CIO since May 2006.
