Laura grew up in St. Louis, Mo., and graduated from Webster Groves High School in 2005. She was determined to attend the “right” university and only visited 15 schools. The difficult choice, however, became clear while touring ACU’s campus. “I knew from the moment I stepped onto campus that I was supposed to attend ACU. The feeling of knowing that those surrounding me cared about me academically and spiritually made all the difference to me.” Laura graduated from ACU in May 2009 with a B.B.A. in Marketing.

“What I learned at ACU in the College of Business taught me how to be a better person in the marketplace and in the world. My professors took a significant interest in my life and I know I am a changed person from my interactions with them. The organizations and activities I was involved in encouraged me to have a servant’s heart., and that is a prominent part of my life now. Above all else, I was blessed to meet the people I did. I know that God has put them in my life to encourage me, humble me and be there for me through everything.”
