About work-study:

The Work-Study program is an employment program offered through the government for students who qualify for financial aid.
Work-Study is not a guarantee of employment. It is the student's responsibility to find employment and facilitate the necessary paperwork with the Human Relations Department.
It is also the student's responsibility to credit the money earned back to their account.
Satisfactory academic progress must be sustained by each student in order to maintain any financial aid program.

Federal Work-Study (FWS)
Who	Students demonstrating need and capability for part-time employment.
How Much	Varies with need. Paid per hour. Usually minimum wage.
How Long	While pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
How to Apply	Complete FAFSA annually.

Other	Employment on campus in various offices or departments. If you are interested in an on-campus job, visit the Career Center site. Money goes to student in form of paycheck. This award is not a guarantee of a job. Minimum GPA required for renewal (2.0 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduates).

Texas College Work-Study (CWS)
Who	Students demonstrating need and capability for part-time employment. Must be a Texas resident.
How Much	Varies with need. Paid per hour. Usually minimum wage.
How Long	While pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
