Honors Summer Academy

The ACU Honors Summer Academy is a life-changing journey inviting high school students to grow academically, creatively and spiritually in a close mentoring and peer community at Abilene Christian University. Participants in Honors Summer Academy are students who are highly motivated to learn, explore ideas, solve problems and develop their creativity. They are interested in attending college, university and/or professional school in the future.

Program Information

Honors Summer Academy will be held from June 11-16, 2017. This year's theme is, "Discover, Imagine, Create: A Summer Academy for High School Students." There is a program fee of $600. A 15% discount off the total cost of the camp is available to ACU Faculty/Staff children.

Eligibility Requirements

Applications will only be accepted for students who will be enrolled in high school in Fall 2017.

Application Process:

Applicants are required to provide high school GPA and SAT, ACT or PSAT scores (if available). All applicants must provide contact information for an academic reference in support of their application. References will receive the recommendation form via email.

February 15 – Early application deadline ($50 discount)
April 1 – Final application deadline
April 21 – Deposit due ($200)
May 19 – Last day to receive refund on deposit
May 31 – Remaining balance due
